Eligibility Requirements
The TIGER Study welcomes applications from surgical institutions worldwide that meet the following criteria:
- Accredited surgical center performing esophageal cancer resections
- Minimum 10 esophagectomies per year (lower volume centers considered on case-by-case basis)
- Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee approval for participation
- Designated principal investigator with surgical oncology expertise
- Commitment to prospective, consecutive patient enrollment
- Ability to complete electronic case report forms (eCRF) for all enrolled patients
- Agreement to data use and publication policies of the TIGER Study consortium
Application Process
Three straightforward steps to becoming a contributing member of the TIGER Study consortium.
Submit Application
Complete the online membership application form with your institution details, surgical volume data, and principal investigator information. Applications are reviewed by the Steering Committee.
Review & Approval
The TIGER Study Steering Committee reviews all applications. You will receive a decision within 4-6 weeks. Approved institutions receive their registration code and access credentials.
Onboarding & Training
Complete the online training module covering the study protocol, eCRF data entry, and quality standards. Your team receives dedicated support during the onboarding period.
